Lanes Link Is Now Available in the Desktop App, No Terminal Required

From v0.47.0, Lanes has a Lanes Link page. It installs the CLI, holds the profile and target, connects your accounts, starts the endpoint, and registers it with Claude Code or Codex. The CLI still owns consent and the token, and the app never reads either.

Lanes Link: One Endpoint for Everything an Agent Needs

Every agent wants its own copy of your accounts. Lanes Link is one MCP endpoint you run yourself: it holds them once, decides what each agent may do, and records every call. Open source, Apache-2.0, on your machine or your own cloud.

What's New in v0.46: Gateways, Local Models, and a Rebuilt Harness Page

Point a session at a model provider you host or buy: a local Ollama, a vLLM box on your network, OpenRouter, or z.ai. Lanes now installs and manages Ollama for you, and bakes a context window that survives a real agent prompt. A new Harness page detects, installs, and updates the CLIs Lanes drives, inside a settings area rebuilt around agentic coding.

Loop Engineering: Stop Prompting, Start Looping

Coding agents are loops, not prompts. Here is what loop engineering means, why verification and context decide whether a loop survives a long run, and how to build one, grounded in the recent work that named the practice.

What's New in v0.45: Forms, a Dashboard, and a Revamped MCP

Lanes Forms lets your agents provision a live form endpoint mid-task, no signup and no backend. A new hosted dashboard brings your forms, activity, and API keys into one place, the Lanes MCP splits into a local and a remote server, and a Git Identity button keeps your commits attributed to the right account. Plus a run of stability fixes across v0.44 and v0.45.

Claude Fable 5 is here. You can run it in Lanes today.

Anthropic just shipped its first Mythos-class model. From v0.43.0 it sits in the Lanes model picker like any other Claude. What it is, what it costs, and why its long-horizon autonomy fits a board of parallel sessions.
